A world where it is safe to love is a world where it is safe to live.
―
It’s not an accident that the heart chakra is green, the color of healing. Loving relationships, most importantly our loving relationship with ourselves, are powerful forces for healing in our lives.
This week we are celebrating love in all its forms. We even have a very special event offered by Alanna and April, Valentines Partner Thai Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Read below for more information.
I am attending a silent retreat on Saturday next weekend. April is subbing for me, so everyone has two chances to enjoy a Restorative and Yin practice this week.
I also want to call your attention to a free lecture series hosted by Infinity practitioners. The next one is coming up on Thursday Feb 21st: Go with Your Gut by Dr. Kristin Noble.
Much Love,
Elle
Teacher Feature
This week I have the pleasure of being Infinity’s featured teacher and I’d like to use this opportunity to announce an upcoming Forrest Inspired Yoga Journey, and long class.
Forrest Inspired Journey
You don’t have to do anything special, just continue to attend classes regularly. Beginning the first week in March each week’s themes will be centered around Forrest Yoga concepts including bringing elements from the 4 directions into our practice. It’s a way for me to share with my students in a deeper way some of the healing practices of Forrest Yoga.
Forrest Inspired Mini-Retreat
Our journey will culminate in an opportunity for a long practice. We’ll begin with a decadent warm up and have a chance to go deeper into our practice as well as spend longer in meditation.
Since this is for my students, I would love your input. If you are interested in participating in something like this, please fill out this doodle and let me know when you would be able to attend.
If you’re not able to attend at least once a week but still want to attend the mini-retreat, please talk to me about it. If you’ve been a regular student of Jen’s in the past and are familiar with Forrest Yoga but can’t make my regular classes, I’d love to see you!
When: To be determined. Please fill out this doodle if you’re interested in attending.
