Many of you know Sarah Maxey from class, but you may not know she is also a teacher.  I’m happy to announce she’s teaching a series at Infinity this summer called Summer Flow: celebrating sun and self-care. It will run Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm beginning the first week in June. More information to come!

Next weekend is SHIFT~, a performance salon with poet Mai’a Williams and musician woolen lover curated by Sharon Mansur, as well as the Journey into Spring Retreat. There is information about both events below. No need to register for SHIFT but if you’re coming to the retreat please let me know as soon as possible.

Laboratory is a movement-based experience with elements of modern dance and contact improv. It is a safe space to inhabit your body more fully while we do movement research. It is a space to make connections through movement that translate to our lives and the world. Each time will be different, depending on who is there and what themes we are exploring. Bluff Country Co-op has partnered with us to offer you a free yoga class in the Co-op’s Community Room on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. De-stress and re-focus while getting your yoga fix during the lunch hour. This all-levels 45-minute yoga sequence will help create balance in the body and mind and, of course, connect with and honor the light within us all.
