We are officially in the Holiday season! Gretchen Mulkey has decorated our windows, Sydney Swanson has taken beautiful pictures, and we’re all getting in the creative spirit.
Whether you associate this time of year with fun, stress, or a bit of both, we invite you to look at your calendar right now and see if you have any self care scheduled in for yourself. If you do, great! If not, consider carving out time for yourself now — free time is unlikely to happen accidentally. This could be as simple as taking time for a bath or a walk with a friend. If you’d like a sauna, massage, or other Infinity service give us a call and we’ll get you set up!
Speaking of self care, from now until the end of December every time you attend an Infinity yoga class you can enter to win free classes, specials on packages, free saunas and more.
You’ll notice we have some Holiday specials to help with both your own self care and your holiday shopping. Check them out below. And while you’re in the mood to shop, check out our Infinity shirts now for sale.
Finally, at the end of this newsletter you’ll find our holiday hours. Make sure you plan accordingly for your Infinity needs at the end of the month.

Hi Everyone!
If you’ve been following our window displays this year, you’ll know that we’ve been lucky enough to host some beautiful designs. We have Gretchen Mulkey to thank for this.
As if the windows weren’t exciting enough, from now until the end of December every time you come to class you can enter to win free yoga classes, free sauna sessions, 20% off yoga packages, and other fun prizes.
I also want to let you know about some holiday specials the clinic is running through the end of the month. $5 coupon for every $50 spent on gift certificates, and PEMF packages – 6 sessions for only $90.
And finally, we have Infinity shirts for sale! The choices are a long sleeved hooded t-shirt pictured prominently below (clearly a crowd favorite!), a non-hooded long sleeved gray t-shirt you see folded in the left corner below, and a black short sleeved t-shirt with the Infinity Chiropractic and Yoga on the front and our logo on the back. In general the sizes run small but I found each shirt fit me differently so you’ll want to make sure to try them on.

De-stress and re-focus while getting your yoga fix during the lunch hour. Would you like to bring more relaxation to your week and help your body in its natural healing processes? If so, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra are great choices for you. After some gentle movements and restorative yoga, we will settle in to a Yoga Nidra practice.
Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance.

Thanksgiving is just one more excuse for me to tell you all how much I appreciate you! Many of you I practice with regularly and I sincerely hope you know how much you mean to me. I’m honored to lead you in practice every week!
I also want to say thank you to my fellow teachers at Infinity. Mollee, Lynn, Jacque, Deb, Sarah, and April, you are awesome. I truly appreciate the expertise you bring to Infinity Yoga Students, and how much you care. You teach amazing classes whether there’s 1 person in the room or 20. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
If you’re reading this and are feeling appreciative of your teachers, I encourage you to attend their classes and tell them in person! You’ll have plenty of chances this week as our classes are as regularly scheduled with the exception of no Nia on Thanksgiving.

Next week many of us are gathering with our families around tables brimming with larger-than-usual portions of delicious food we don’t usually eat. For those of us with food sensitivities, sometimes even the joy of seeing family can’t override the stress of negotiating these meals. We’re here for you.
Our goal is always to help you regain your ability to digest as many different kinds of foods as possible. To this end you’ll notice in this newsletter and in Wellness News of Oct 28th we have featured different digestive enzymes that help with common food sensitivities. If you’re wondering which one of these to try consider booking an NRT session with Dr. Kristin or Sydney Swanson.
Sometimes all that’s needed is a new frame of mind to help us deal with the stress. In cases where reactions aren’t severe, and/or you have enzymatic help, consider just letting yourself enjoy your beautiful meal complete with a piece of pie. Remember, one of the worst things you can do for your digestion is clog it up with guilt!
Speaking of choosing enjoyment over stress, our featured service this week is massage therapy. While you’re booking booking your next appointment consider the people in your life who would love to receive a massage as a gift! We have gift certificates available for massage, sauna, yoga, and general use. Your holiday shopping could be really easy this year!
Notice our adjusted holiday hours below.

Featured Products: Digestive Complete and Digestive Complete
Digestive Complete is a nutritional supplement to help support healthy digestion and absorption of nutrients. Enzymes help break down proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids in the digestive system. Each nutrient category requires its own specific enzyme to break down and properly digest, so a broad-spectrum supplement is preferred for optimal healthy digestion. Digestive Complete also includes numerous complementary ingredients to further support healthy digestive function.
Digestive Vegetarian is a comprehensive blend of 11 non-animal derived enzymes that support proper digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, lactose, sucrose, cellulose, and maltose. Since each type of nutrient category requires their own specific enzyme to break down and properly digest, it is critical to use a broad spectrum supplement.

Hi Everyone!
Outside fat snow flakes are falling onto a carpet of leaves. These particular flakes won’t stay on the ground, but still, the winter we’ve been waiting for is here.
Perhaps you’re already prepared for the change of season, or perhaps this mellow snow is a not so gentle reminder of your to-do list. Either way (but especially if the latter is the case), make sure to put your self care—including your practice—on that list. And while you’re at it, register for our Yoga and Acupuncture event on November 18th!

I grew up in the Chicagoland area, and attended Winona State University where I majored in Biology and played on the softball team (2002-2006). After graduating from Winona State, I started at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010. I worked in two very successful practices in Iowa after graduating gaining a wealth of knowledge in chiropractic, sports injuries, nutrition, and acupuncture. I am so happy to be back in this area, and to give back to the community and people that were such a large part of my wonderful experience here in Winona. When I am not here at Infinity, you’ll find me busy keeping up with my 9-year-old daughter Zoey, and Siberian husky Tundra. I also enjoy being active outdoors, sports, yoga, cooking, movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Hi Everyone!
It’s a great time of year for rewatching or rereading favorite Halloween tales. As a rule I love stories about good witches. But to be fair, I love any story about people learning to accept themselves. When we learn to face our perceived flaws and to love ourselves – not in spite of those flaws, but because of them – it’s downright magical!
Speaking of the healing magic of going within, next weekend is Rahbi Crawford’s Crystal Bowl Concert, and April is leading Yoga Nidra. Make sure you check out the information about both of these events below!
See you on the mat,
~Elle

“In the deep fall don’t you imagine the leaves think how comfortable it will be to touch the earth instead of the nothingness of air and the endless freshets of wind?” ―Mary Oliver, Song for Autumn
Hi Everyone!
Fall Equinox happens at 2:50am tomorrow morning so most of us will sleep through it. However you can still observe it in your own way.
This morning I’m thinking about how the equinoxes arrive during seasons of change which goes against any notations we might hold that balance is best achieved during times of quiet and tranquility! Poses such as the tree pose can help teach us that balance arises out of the juxtaposition of forces. As our foot presses into our strong leg as we continue to make micro adjustments as we hold the pose. I’m not saying you need to wake up at 2:50am to practice a tree pose, but you might consider including them in your daily/ weekly practices.
This Saturday Gentle Yoga classes begin again with a special New Moon class beginning at 10am. More information below. Look forward to regular 10:45am classes beginning in October and going through the end of the year.
On Sunday April leads a special Yoga Nidra practice during her Restorative Yoga class. We are so lucky to have access to this healing practice on a regular basis!
Lynn is going to step away from her Saturday morning classes while her travel schedule is so hectic. For those of you looking to practice Qi Gong, her regular students meet even when she’s out of town. Please feel free to join them, they are a very welcoming bunch!
Lastly, you’ll want to save the date for Rahbi Crawford’s Feminine Empowerment Concert on Oct. 27th. For those of you who remember Rahbi performed at Infinity years ago. She practices a unique form of healing work using sound and guided meditation to help one align and balance their energy. More information on this concert below.
