Alanna’s classes use a variety of postures and breath work to cultivate balance, flexibility, strength, and endurance. All Levels classes are open to beginners as well as the experienced yoga student. Please note: if you have specific injuries, talk to your teacher beforehand to learn if this is the class for you.
Alanna blends some holding of postures and use of props from her Iyengar background with breathing and connecting to movement in an 8-week rotation of themes. Every fourth week is a restorative class; the other themes/focus of class are: Standing postures, Seated postures, Twisting, Forward folding, Backward bending and Inversion poses.
